Corey G. Batiste, MD

Cory G. Batiste

Dr. Batiste is a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist, with experience in the most advanced eye surgery techniques and therapies. He has participated in glaucoma research at the Kresge Eye Institute at the Detroit Medical Center of Wayne State University.

Dr. Batiste has published several abstracts for medical journals and speaks frequently at ophthalmology meetings. He serves as clinical instructor and helps oversee the surgical training of the resident eye physicians at Maricopa Medical Center.

Since 2001, he has been an FAA Certified Private Pilot and member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Dr. Batiste participates in triathlons and is a member of the USA Triathlon organization.

Dr. Batiste's medical background includes receiving his Medical Doctor degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, with an internship at Detroit's Sinai-Grace Hospital, and residency at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit. Dr. Batiste received his glaucoma fellowship training at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
