Dr. Reiss is a board certified Eye Surgeon and Physician. He first treated valley patients in 1986 as a visiting Chief Resident from the Mayo Clinic-Minnesota. Dr. Reiss is fellowship trained in glaucoma and has extensive experience with many techniques of modern intraocular surgery including small incision cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and refractive lens implants.
Dr. Reiss serves as Consultant and helps to oversee the surgical education of resident eye physicans from the Will's Eye Hospital-Philadelphia.
He is an active participant in the Arizona Ophthalmic Trauma Service where he consults and treats minor and major eye injuries throughout the valley and state.
In 1993 he was named the Team Ophthalmologist for the Phoenix Coyotes by the National Hockey League, where he manages both general eye care and major injuries. He has also consulted for the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Roadrunners, Arizona Rattlers, Phoenix Mercury and the Phoenix Mustangs.
